Profile

Son of former South African cricketer Tertius Bosch, Corbin is an all-rounder and was part of the victorious Proteas' U-19 side that lifted the World Cup in Dubai (2014). He was also the player of the match in the finals producing a magnificent spell of 4/15.

At the age of 5, Corbin had to overcome a major tragedy when his father Tertius Bosch passed away in 2000. But his passion for the game is such that he worked his way into the U-19 side after rigorous hard work and memorably made his U-19 World Cup debut against West Indies on his dad's 14th death anniversary.

He made his T20 debut for the Titans in the following year. The youngster couldn't reciprocate his performance in the circuit, but still remains a force to reckon with.

Bosch stayed in the domestic circuit for a few seasons, and got scattered opportunities elsewhere in franchise tournaments. He played the 2022 Caribbean Premier League for the Barbados Royals, and was also roped in by Paarl Royals for the inaugural SA20 League.

In 2023, Bosch was part of the South Africa A team for their tour to Sri Lanka, where he played 3 List A matches and two first class games. In the next home summer, Bosch was selected in the ODI squad as a replacement for the injured Ottneil Baartman for the games against Pakistan.

In the same month, Bosch got a chance in red ball cricket as well, getting picked for the Boxing Day Test. Bosch scored a superb 81 on debut that helped save South Africa from a precarious position, and the Proteas later won that thrilling Test to qualify for the WTC finals.

Corbin Bosch was roped in as an injury replacement for Lizaard Williams for IPL 2025 by Mumbai Indians.
