Profile

Born in Toowoomba, Jack picked up his cricketing nuances at Valleys District Cricket Club in Brisbane. A strong hitter of the ball, Wildermouth's prime occupation on the cricketing field is of a fast bowler.

He came up the ranks by playing age group cricket at various levels in Brisbane and was awarded a rookie contract with Queensland for the 2014-15 season. His next season was a good one for the Bulls as he scored his maiden ton for them and also ended up as the second highest wicket taker. He picked up 25 wickets in 8 games at an average of 22.96.

He was picked up by Brisbane Heat for BBL 06 and ended up playing 9 games for them while picking up 9 wickets. His average and economy rate though were on the higher side and he made a move to Melbourne Renegades for BBL 07.

Wildermuth was handed a T20I cap against Zimbabwe in 2018 but failed to return to the Australian side thereafter. After playing for the Renegades till 2019/20, he moved back to the Brisbane Heat for the following season.
