-Tazmin Brits was a world junior champion in javelin at the age of 16.
-Brits had even qualified for the London Olympics 2012
-She still has Olympic rings tattoo on the inside of her right bicep
-Just 8 months before 2012 Olympics, Brits suffered a horrendous car crash
-Lost control of the steering (car) and was hurled through the window
-As the car landed on her, Brits suffered a broken pelvis, dislocated hip and burst bladder
-After 3 months in hospital, she had to go through another surgery and rehab
-Severe mental trauma surrounded her which also prompted suicidal thoughts
-She started playing cricket only for "socialising and having fun"
-Her indomitable spirit and noteworthy consistency ensured a place in the national team (May 2018)
-Usually good with pulls and cuts, Brits sealed her spot (in the national side) at the top of the order with improved consistency and commendable intent
