West Indies Akeal Hossain is all set to feature in the ongoing three-match ODI series against Bangladesh. The left -arm spinner is expected to arrive tonight to join the team as they prepare to take on the host in the second ODI of the series after losing the opening game by 74 runs.

"Akeal is expected to arrive tonight to join the ODI team," Cricket West Indies media officer Jerome Foster confirmed to Cricbuzz on Monday.

Earlier BCB announced that they have included left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmedin the ODI squad for the ongoing series against the West Indies.

In the series opener, spinners from both sides played a dominant role in the low and slow surface prepared at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Saturday and that has likely prompted Nasum's addition.

West Indies left-arm spinner Khary Pierre came up with a brilliant bowling display picking 1 for 19 in his 10 overs while offspinner Roston Chase picked two wickets for the tourists. Bangladesh's tweakers won the game for the hosts as Rishad Hossain and Tanvir Islam shared eight wickets between them.

Left-arm pacer Ramon Simmonds, 24, has also been drafted in for his maiden ODI call-up after featuring in two T20 Internationals for the West Indies while fast bowlers Jediah Blades and Shamar Joseph, both part of the ODI setup, will return to the Caribbean. It was learnt Jason Holder will arrive on October 21 to join the team as he is expected to feature in the T20Is.
